I build and ship production software. Ten-plus years across healthcare tech, fintech, high-throughput data platforms, and distributed computing — turning early-stage prototypes into globally deployed, event-driven systems, and architecting serverless platforms handling hundreds of requests per second.

I bring deep knowledge of AWS cloud architecture, microservices design, and modern stacks, combined with a proven ability to deliver under real-world constraints: legacy hardware integration, regulatory environments, tight deadlines, and distributed teams across time zones.     Joined as employee #4 and first developer. Turned a single-instance MERN prototype into a production-grade, event-driven CRM and platform running across multiple countries — payments, settlement, per-market data privacy, and OTA updates to C++/Qt field devices built by an OEM partner.

  2. Oct 2021 – Jun 2023

    Full Stack Developer · ANSIC Group / Racelab

    Modernised Racelab's legacy AWS stack: replaced a Kafka design with a Go-on-Lambda API handling hundreds of requests per second, orchestrated via Step Functions. In parallel, built a Next.js ID-verification app integrating Australian government APIs so insurers could score applicant risk.

    Backend consultant on ANZ's transaction risk categorisation pipelines. Distributed team of 6–7 engineers, fully remote, inside a large regulated banking environment.

    Senior engineer in a consultancy supporting multiple clients. Built a Django REST API letting AGL customers sell excess solar energy back to the grid. Contributed to Vodafone's DreamLab — an event-driven AWS system using mobile phones as a distributed compute cluster for Imperial College London research.
